Music album >>> parents_dreams_for_their_children

Experimental music project carried out at the end of 2009 consisting of a series of audio pieces within a concept that could be called “post-apocalyptic nostalgia”: the central theme is “Turn Hero”, a version of “We don’t need another hero” composed by Graham Lyle and Terry Britten and performed by singer Tina Turner in the film Mad Max 3. The style itself arises from the search for a sound inspired by songs like Brustreet from the band Salem, Butterscotch from George Quartz and in general of the great work of Fuck Buttons (Andrew Hung + Benjamin John Power).

Using basic resources at hand such as the free GarageBand software (with its standard instrument library), MIDI tracks downloaded from the internet, and the requirement that the album, with its tracks, titles, and cover art, be completed in a single weekend, this humble work was born by a completely amateur musician.

It should be noted that the style represents, in part, the feeling of a moment (2009) but in no way the totality of the musical tastes of the author.
